It just dawned on me that I’m graduating in less than 4 months! Where has time gone? It’s been 4 years since I graduated from high school! As all my classmates finish up their applications to graduate school and their future jobs, I sit here pondering my next move. Grad school? Noooooo, the thought of another year of stress and tests makes me nauseous. Job? I will be graduating with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Education. Originally, I thought I wanted to teach with my degree, but I’ve been interning at a school for the past 2 semesters. It’s been fun, and I enjoy it. However, I do not love it. I want to love it. So, now I’m stuck in this rut of where to go next. Will I be a waitress for the rest of my life? I really hope not. Until next time… Friday, February 4, 2011
Where do I go from here?

You will not be a waitress for the rest of your life. That is my prediction for you. Life is a journey. It's a cliched saying, but after never-mind-how-many-years on this road, I can attest to that. And the fact that you never know where the next bend in the road will take you. Hope you get to ride in a fun convertible!
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about working over seas? maybe joining the peace corps, or some branch of the military as an officer? there are so many options! Don't rush yourself though, and try to look at your choices as life experiences, it makes everything more enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteMrs. Dana and Robert are right. Life is long and there are many options. You just have to trust your heart and you'll hear your calling.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that a major in psychology can give you a more broad options than you expect, you could be an adviser for a media company. Helping them in promotions by analyzing the public market and stuff. That's one idea. I don't know if that made sense lol.
